“I was looking to make a maduro line for three years, but never found a wrapper that was different from anything in the market,” Sgroi said. “Even though it is not the darkest wrapper, when I saw the broad leaf in Jalapa and tasted its unique flavor I said that I’m going to blend the Casa Favilli line with it, no matter what.”
